Struggling to Exercise? Read This.

Ok I’m going to be honest – it has been one of those weeks. The weather in London has just been awful and the thought of doing anything other than curling up on the couch with a blanket when I’m not working has seemed inconceivable. A few days of inactivity culminated in sheer laziness when the rain and wind last night saw me skip my run club and indulge in a delicious Spanish dinner instead. Never one to let myself feel guilty for my decisions, I convinced myself to let it go and regain my motivation today.

I am a real person and far from perfect. Even I go through phases where I find it difficult to find the time and motivation to exercise. It is totally fine to have periods of time that are less inspired than others, wellness is a journey not a destination.

I’ve put together some of my favourite quotes and mantras for those days when you are finding it hard to brave whatever circumstances may arrive and keep working towards your goals.

I hope these help you pick yourself up and find the strength to keep going like it did me! Remember, you will never ever regret exercising. Focus on how you are going to feel afterward a workout versus how you will feel if you don’t workout.
